The Banking Services Manager at Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. (MMBL) is responsible for overseeing branch operations, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. This role involves leading and supervising branch staff, maintaining a customer-centric environment, handling customer complaints, managing financial and non-financial transactions, and coordinating with internal departments. The manager also oversees HR and administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
Lead and guide the branch operations team, acting as a true supervisor of all branch activities.
Collaborate closely with the Branch Manager to achieve operational excellence.
Ensure strict adherence to the bank’s policies, procedures, and SBP prudential regulations.
Foster a customer-focused environment that prioritizes excellent service.
Monitor staff performance, recommend timely rotations, and enforce SOPs and internal controls.
Maintain security and confidentiality, including cash, safe keys, and system passwords.
Verify and seal all computer inputs/outputs and maintain proper record-keeping.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely compliance.
Oversee cash limits, daily cash book balancing, and preparation of MIS reports.
Handle customer complaints promptly and ensure resolutions are achieved efficiently.
Supervise account openings, deposits, cash handling, clearing, remittances, credits, recoveries, JazzCash, and all banking operations.
Authorize and supervise all financial and non-financial transactions in real-time.
Ensure adequate staff backup for critical positions and maintain punctuality and dress code compliance.
Nominate staff for training and maintain smooth inter-departmental coordination.
Monitor staff behavior and report any irregularities.
Oversee custody and record-keeping of PDCs, gold, passbooks, duplicate keys, ATM codes, and other security items.
Manage HR and administrative matters of branch staff.
Ensure all daily processes, vouchers, and reports are completed and verified.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Line Manager.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Commerce from a reputable institution. MBA is preferable (subject to approval).
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in banking operations or a related field.
