Assistant Manager Treasury – National Foods Limited

Job Purpose:

As Assistant Manager Treasury, you will manage treasury operations, ensuring that NFL’s financial obligations are met in compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily cash positions and liaise with banks to maintain sufficient funds, credit facilities, and support for NFL operations, capital expenditures, and investments.

• Track intraday (ID) cash positions, analyze vendor payments, and flag those exceeding 70% of total payments with detailed justification.

• Develop year-to-date cash flow reports using actual transaction data and ensure system accuracy.

• Reconcile physical invoices with digital records in SAP, ensuring compliance with NFL financial documentation standards.

• Collaborate with IT for operational tasks and manage new cash journals in SAP.

• Perform bank reconciliations, manage international payments via DMCC and NEI banks, and handle electronic fund transfers with proper authorization.

• Review and approve petty cash vouchers, maintaining accurate records for audit purposes.

• Support timely application and rollover of money market and short-term investments, coordinating with financial institutions.

• Monitor NFL’s short-term investment portfolio, analyze market trends, and provide recommendations to optimize returns and manage risks.

• Work with local banks to ensure all documentation for foreign remittances is complete.

• Respond to regulatory inquiries, including communications from the State Bank, after securing internal approvals.

• Maintain awareness of local and international financial regulations and ensure compliance across treasury operations.

• Prepare and manage bank charges dashboards, analyzing trends and identifying potential cost savings.

• Assist in dividend distribution by ensuring funds are available for disbursement.

• Support the Assistant Manager – Treasury in managing financial risks, including interest rate and foreign exchange exposures.

• Keep updated with best practices in treasury management to maintain NFL’s operational excellence.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 3–5 years of experience or

• Postgraduate degree in a relevant field with 1–2 years of experience.
