Educational Requirements:

• Bachelors (4 Years) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.

• Master’s degree preferred.

• Minimum 16 years of HEC-verified education (attested degrees required).

Professional Experience:

• Preferably 5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role, ideally in Digital Identity or Public Sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance Java-based software.

• Architect scalable and secure Java applications.

• Interface with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) and optimize queries.

• Troubleshoot, identify bugs, and resolve software issues promptly.

• Implement backend systems using Java and follow SDLC practices.

• Conduct unit and integration testing, participate in code reviews, and maintain documentation.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth development processes.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong Java expertise (Core Java, Java EE, Spring, Hibernate).

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.

• Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB).

• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (Angular, React).

• RESTful API development and integration.

• Version control using GIT; familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD.

• Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban).

• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization tools (Docker) are a plus.
