As the Regional Sales Manager, you will lead a team of Sales Unit Leads, execute sales campaigns, and ensure the achievement of sales targets in alignment with regional strategies and objectives. You will drive a high-performing sales organization, optimize commercial policies, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in your region.
Business & Sales
Build market share and increase penetration across targeted segments by achieving crop-wise and value-wise sales targets.
Implement GTM strategies and other commercial policies effectively.
Monitor competitor activities and sales trends across various markets.
Gather market intelligence from the sales force and marketing teams to develop accurate 12-month forecasts.
Stakeholder & Team Management
Maintain positive relationships with regional stakeholders.
Act as a liaison for operational and customer-related issues.
Measure and enhance sales force performance through coaching and development.
Support business units in mapping salesforce skills against customer allocation and product portfolio.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
Drive new product introduction and adoption.
Handle customer complaints professionally.
Promote a culture of compliance with regulatory standards and Syngenta’s code of conduct.
Education & Knowledge
Agriculture Graduate / Postgraduate or Business Graduate.
Strong understanding of agricultural science, crop protection chemicals, and seed technologies.
Awareness of Syngenta’s portfolio, competitor products, and agro-business trends.
Knowledge of commercial and business concepts, grower behavior, and channel structures.
Experience
Minimum 5 years in sales and sales management.
Proven team management and leadership skills.
Strong ability to understand customer needs and business drivers.
Execution and management of field promotion campaigns.
Selling, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Innovation management and problem-solving.
Team building, coaching, and situational leadership.
