Network Integration & Implementation Engineer – Jazz Pakistan

About the Role

The Network Integration & Implementation Engineer manages the planning, execution, and delivery of technical solutions and network-related projects, including managed services and system integration for Jazz’s enterprise solutions. This role ensures on-time, high-quality service delivery while coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and customers.

Reporting to the Regional Manager – Service Delivery, this position works closely with cross-functional teams across Network Operations, Field Operations, Planning, and Vendor Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project deployments for internet, data, and voice services, covering design, configuration, installation, and documentation.

• Design and implement WAN solutions (Enterprise WAN, Carrier-grade WAN, SD-WAN) including routing, switching, and security technologies.

• Manage the complete service delivery cycle for MPLS L2/L3 VPN, multi-homed internet, SIP-based VOIP, DPLC, xSTP, QinQ, LAG, and other L2 solutions.

• Implement and support multi-vendor CPEs (routers, switches, firewalls, APs) including Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, and Huawei.

• Deliver managed services: SD-WAN, SASE, DCN, managed Wi-Fi, firewall-as-a-service, cloud-based call-center/VOIP solutions, and IoT/M2M solutions.

• Handle change management, remote configurations, onsite support, and training for client technical teams.

• Collaborate with OEMs and partners for design, delivery, and post-sales support.

• Lead routine software/hardware upgrades, troubleshooting, and testing of new products/services.

• Maintain detailed project documentation (HLDs, LLDs, network diagrams, project plans).

• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network integration and managed services.

• On-time and within-scope delivery of projects and managed services.

• Up-to-date project documentation and service records.

• Effective coordination and communication with stakeholders, including onsite troubleshooting and client updates.

Requirements

• Experience: 2–3 years in services delivery of managed services and system integration (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi APs) for enterprise customers.

• Technical Knowledge:

  • IP Networks, Routing & Switching, BGP, OSPF, GRE, IPSEC, SIP, QinQ, IoT, and cloud technologies

  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Huawei, Juniper devices and SD-WAN technologies

  • Fortinet (FortiGate/FortiAnalyzer/FortiManager), Cisco (FTD/FMC, Viptela/Meraki), Huawei iMaster NCE

• Certifications: CCNP, JNCIA, HCIP (preferred), with additional certifications like NSE4/NSE7 or JNCIS/JNCIP a plus

• Skills: Analytical mindset, problem-solving, presentation, project management (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile), MS Project/Jira, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Telecom, Electrical, Computer), Computer Science, or IT

• Communication: Fluent in English and Urdu
