About the Role

The Area Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving regional sales growth across Postpaid services, Mobile Wallets, Remittances, and Retail/Franchise operations. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and achieve sales targets. The position reports to the Regional Sales Head and leads a team of Territory Sales Supervisors and Franchise Service Executives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular market visits, meeting retailers and franchise owners to understand local dynamics.

  • Mentor and guide team members, escalating challenges when necessary for optimal results.

  • Develop and execute plans to increase sales of handsets, WiFi devices, remittances, and postpaid subscriptions.

  • Collaborate with Commercial Planning to design campaigns boosting Postpaid business penetration.

  • Build and maintain strong distribution and retail networks across the assigned region.

  • Drive franchise business growth while ensuring compliance with company policies.

  • Motivate and counsel franchise and retail teams, emphasizing profitability and performance.

  • Achieve monthly KPIs including Postpaid Sales, Remittances, Cash-in, MNP, Gross adds, Jazz Cash Wallets, and 4G penetration.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (DFS Executives, Sales Operations, Channel Planning, Regional Technical Teams) and external stakeholders (franchise staff and retailers) to strengthen the channel.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 6–10 years of experience in sales distribution, channel development, and retail management.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized institute.

  • Proven track record of managing challenging projects from planning to rollout.

  • Willingness to work in remote areas and mentor teams effectively.

  • Strong supervisory skills to guide sales and franchise teams, driving channel performance improvements.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle complex stakeholder interactions.

  • Resilience, professionalism, and accountability in all aspects of work.
