Zong brings Golden Number Bidding in Pakistan for the first time. In this regard, the company has released a series of Golden Numbers including categories like Octa, Hepta and Hexa. All existing and new Zong customers will be able to participate in the bidding process to acquire their favorite combination of digits under a transparent mechanism. Campaign Duration: The bidding campaign started on August 29 and will remain open till September 10, 2014. How to subscribe: Send “Reg” to 7373. Golden Number Bidding Input: Send “Bid” to 7373. Charges: Rs. 500. Procedure: In case of winning the number during auction, the winner will be required to produce the compulsory verification documents along with the unique token number which will be issued to winner through SMS. After producing all requirements and the number winning price, the Golden number would be handed over to the Winner. The winners who would be unable to pay the bidding amount will be black listed and they would not be allowed to participate in future bidding. The company will only issue number to the highest bidder against the Cash amount or Bank draft in the name of Zong equal to the amount of bid against which the number is won within the specific time period max 5 working days. After that the winner cannot claim the number and it will be handed over to the next highest bidder. If the highest bidder fails to make payment within the specified time period, the winning status shall be hand over to the next highest bidder. In case a tie between highest bidders, the bidders will be given chance to bid more and the token will be issued to the one who will further bid high. Govt. taxes apply on Base Price and the bid amount.
