What,s Different in Galaxy Note Edge Than Note 4
After the launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 4, people criticized the Samsung for launching Samsung Galaxy Note Edge right after that, a handset which shares common pair of specs along with predecessor but a bit edgy from one side and that is the glory of edge. But do you think this waterfall styled curved phablet was worth releasing after Note 4? We guess Samsung manufacturing team has tried to do something extra ordinary by introducing the curve in Note Edge. Let’s compare both phablets specs and try find out where we can draw a line which differentiate both these two. Display: Let’s compare display and resolution first. Note Edge sports a 5.6 inches super AMOLED display with massive 1600 x 2560 pixels, screen resolution with 524 ppi pixel density while Note 4 measures a 5.7 inches display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution with 515 ppi pixel density. Such minor difference in display size is beyond explainable. Design: Samsung again used the fake leather at the back which they have used in Note 3 and Note 4 but when we reviewed Note 4, we noticed big time about the better grip and same goes with the Note Edge. Even the metallic strips on the sides are similar somehow, except from curvy side. The curve also enlarges the overall size of Edge but as a whole design is fresh and gives typical Samsung look. The curve is there to house favorite apps and quick-launch items. It also gives quick glances at the weather, or other info you might want to see such as favorite apps, briefing etc. Processor: Edgy Note is equipped with Quad-core 2.7 GHz Krait 450 Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 while the Note 4 is powered by triple quad core processor Quad-core 2.7 GHz Krait 450 and Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 plus Quad-core 1.9 GHz. So Note 4 takes the lead in processing department big time. Memory: Both have 32 GB internal memory with the support of 3 GB RAM. And in both sets, you can extend the memory up to 128 GB. Operating System: Both Note 4 and Note Edge have operating system of Android KitKat and fans are hoping to see an upgrade of Lollipop in 2015. Camera: Both handsets possess 16 megapixels camera on the back while front one on the back. Battery: Note Edge Supports a Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery while Note 4 has slightly better battery which is 3200 mAh. S Pen, Fingerprint Scanner and LTE are common features: Both are LTE enabled while also enjoy the S Pen and Fingerprint scanner. Both phablets are great and similar in terms of performance, design and camera. The one thing which differentiates both is the curved design of Note Edge. Otherwise we don’t see any radical difference between both these two Samsung’s ultimate fascinations. Read Also: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Review, A Massive Phablet
