Sumail Hassan Syed, a fifteen-year-old boy from Karachi, who just moved to USA last year, is the rising star of the gaming world. Famous online game Defense of the Ancient 2, commonly known as Dota 2, is played worldwide on a professional level. It’s Asian Championship was early this morning in China. Sumail Hassan’s team Evil Geniuses won! Asian Dota 2 Champions Sumail’s inclusion in the team was a controversial decision because the boy did not have any professional experience. However, the members of the team recognized his talent and not only made him a part of the team, they even made him the captain. Sumail, or as he is known in the gaming world, ‘suma1l’ for his alias, played from the most important position and won the team a championship. The total prize money of this gaming fest was 1.2 Million US Dollars. The championship is an annual event that is covered and followed by all of the gaming related media, and gaming lovers.
