Youtube Kids app releasing on Feb 23, 2015

The Google-owned video service Youtube is ready to launch a special application for Kids on 23 February, 2015. This parent-friendly application will filter the data and ensure the age-appropriate experience for children.YouTube-Kids Youtube Kids is said to be separate from the original Youtube services as its home page consists of 5 small icons of T.V, Radio, Bulb, Binocular and search bar on the top, while just below it, there are 8 video icons of the top rated programs. TV tab will show the famous shows for children like Thomas the Tank Engine and Yo Gabba Gabba, At Radio portal, children can listen popular songs, Lightbulb is for educational learning channels like Khan academy and binocular can be used to explore top videos. This new by-product of Youtube,s also works with voice commands so the kids who can,t type can say the name of their favourite show to watch. Youtube Kids is equipped with parental control features and provides a password to parents to control the App. Parents can set time for the application and it will shut down after that specified duration and could only be started again by providing the password. This feature will help in keeping the entertainment time of children limited. Application also focuses on the personality building of little angels and will not search any inappropriate terms e.g. if a kid deliberately or inadvertently types words like Sex, Nude etc., the application will pop up a message to search something else. Android is going to taste this new App first and will be available free of cost. This app will not only entertain children but will also helpful for the parents due to self-control features therefore anticipated to gain much popularity soon after its release.
