Mobilink restores facebook and twitter on its blackberry service

Mobilink has restored the facebook and twitter services on its blackberry phones. Company PR says that it has introduced self content filtering solution so that it could align with the policies of PTA. PTA had asked the cellular operator to block the blackberry service partially in 2010 owing to the pressure from government and the public to block social networking sites that contained blasphemous content. Omar Manzur, Director PR & CSR, highlighted, “Customer satisfaction is an essential driver at Mobilink, and this content filtering soultion is our initiative to restore full functionality of internet services for our valued customers, while maintaining PTA regulations.”
