Dell laptops to get wireless charging feature

In near future, Dell laptops are expected to get Wireless charging feature as Alliance for Wireless Power (A4WP) has signed a deal with Dell. Just recently, there was deal between A4WP with another major alliance of wireless charging to join hands for launching similar technology and protocols to work towards a Cable free world. Now Dell has signed on with A4WP as the latter is going to launch technology that is going to power up devices that use energy between 20-50 watts i.e. commercially used laptops. A4WP make use of resonance technology to charge up devices placed in the vicinity of its charging surface. Until now it has financial backing of companies like Samsung, HTC, Qualcomm, LG and Panasonic but the company has still to come out with ingenious gadgets that can be charged with this method. Competition for wireless charging is tougher and despite a partnership with rival PMA, it seems that A4PW must hurry up to launch real life devices to match up with the demands of tech savvy consumers who are tired of cables to charge up their gadgets.
