KPK Govt installs Biometric System in offices of Education Department

The trend of using the potentials of the Biometric devices are not only limited to Punjab only but they are also proving effective for the other provinces as well and, therefore, in order to monitor the attendance of the staff, the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has recently installed Biometric System in the offices of Education Department. The project of installing biometric devices cost around Rs. 270 million and the KPK government vows to install these devices in the educational institutions also in the second phase of the project so that the efficiency and transparency of the staff could be ensured. KPK Apart from that, PTI chairman Imran Khan has also announced recently that KPK government would computerize all land records of the province in three years and will make every effort to check the excesses of patwaris and other revenue officials. After inaugurating the service delivery center of the land revenue department in Mardan district, the chairman told that the automation of land record would not only bring relief to the people, but it would also address land disputes as well. He said that said KPK government is striving to free educational institutions from all kinds of politics thus all vice chancellors of the government universities in the province would be appointed on merit now
