LAHORE/ISLAMABAD - Streets, bazaars and all major private and public buildings of the provincial capital have been decked up to celebrate on January 14.......!!!

For this purpose, special processions will be taken out at all major roads of the city. All kind of gatherings will be held at different places to pay homage to the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). Ulema and religious scholars will address rallies and shed light on the life of Holy Prophet (PBUH) while women are ready for get-togethers at homes to recite Na’ats on this occasion. The biggest procession of the city will be taken out from Railways Station that will end at the shrine of Hazrat Data Gunj Bakhash where all participants will offer special prayers for the country and the Ummah. Interestingly, children have set up small stalls to collect donations to decorate their streets. Banners, badges, stickers and flags inscribed with the slogans paying respect and reverence. Many of the faithful have decorated their cars and bikes and bicycles with different placards and small badges. The government also have planned different activities and have directed all official departments -TMA, WASA, WAPDA, Sui Northern Gas, PTCL and Solid Waste Management to extend all-out help. Meanwhile, special programs will be broadcast on radios and televisions and newspapers will publish special editions on the life and the role of the holy prophet. The caretaker of Eidgah Sharif Pir Naqib-ur-Rehman has said that the Milad of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) would be celebrated with full religious spirit, enthusiasm and fervour.
