Gchat Looks Like Google Hangouts In Redesign

Gchat is a feature of communication for Gmail users to send instant messages to all their Gmail contacts. Currently, there are some changes observed in Gchat that looks like same as Google’s voice and video chat service. The visible update in Gchat is that it includes bubble shaped profile pictures for each contact. These are the same types of images which are coming out of Google+ social network. If you and your friends have Google accounts, all the images which are going uploaded will automatically attach to their emails and chats. But it is up to users to change the appeared picture in the way you want. Google is working on Gchat extension to show same use and layout. This update is released after one day when the screenshots of new design of Gmail leaked which showing mew powerful features. Leaked images showed that Google going to silently bring in changes of Gmail setting but those images were not still verified. The new features is very much same as Gmail’s new mobile app. Star feature which is currently present in Gmail is replaced by new Pin feature which will highlight the email and be on the top of inbox. There will also a major change in layout of Gmail in menu bar on left side which is same as Google designed for YouTube’s menu. In addition to these emails Google also filter other groups such as social, promotion and others. Gmail also adds other tabs for travel, purchases and finances. There is also a feature present on right side of Gmail through which it can connect with other Google users. Google is trying to test “snooze” button on mobile that set a timer to go back and user can read certain emails but it is yet not clear that this version will work on mobile or not. If the screenshots are valid and the new design of Google showing that there will bigger audience someday. Google hasn’t spent much time on update if it hasn’t big plans for it. And definitely some of the users are going to get bored with the same design around the same Google services. But on the other side some of the users would like to have same features around, because it’s a bit easy to navigate through your different accounts on different network while having almost the same layout.
