Now Get Instant Video Messages with Facebook Messenger

Facebook just gone big on its messenger app, the company has updated its app both for iOS and Android devices to send 15-seconds video messages to their friends. Facebook has updated new messenger app for its users so that they can send 15 second video message to their closed ones and along with this user can also record that message too. This new messenger app is only applicable on iOS & Android devices. There are many version of the app from which version 6.0 of the app adds a feature termed as “Big likes”. This used when user likes something which is longer and for that user has to press and hold to send much bigger “thumbs up” sign. The new version of the app came after an incident by Facebook that is the accidental roll out of the Slingshot messaging app prior of this week. That app which was pulled from Apple’s App Store, the app has the ability to send short video messages to the friends. On Monday, Facebook has mistakenly removed Slingshot from App Sore. Company told mashable about the mistake occurred by them and they also mentioned on the post accordingly. Spokesperson of Facebook told Mashable: “Earlier today, we accidentally released a version of Slingshot, a new app we’re working on,” “With Slingshot, you’ll be able to share everyday moments with lots of people at once. It’ll be ready soon and we’re excited for you to try it out.” On Monday, Facebook mistakenly launched Slingshot in its latest try of producing a Snapchat competitor. As the app lunched accidentally but it is still unknown that how it occurs but after this accidental launch it was appeared on the App Store for a short time but the app is already present for user in some countries. The IOS app which will be going to be launch in a soon will provide and facilitate users to send invisible messages and images to their friends easily. User uses the app by making a picture and has to record video to share messages as well. It is the same as Snapchat user can draw and write on different images before sending them. But if the receiver wants to see the message, user has to send its own message first. After the receiver receives the message, user responds accordingly with a reaction. Messages will disappear after they swiped away but it is not yet clear that for how much time user can view individual messages. App launched premature accidently when developers set wrong date and time zone of the launch of the app. Its actual launch date read on store page is 10TH June, so according to the date app may launch at that date in countries with early time zones. It is reported that Facebook is working on new standalone app that is disappearing messaging app that might be termed as Slingshot. The new version of the Facebook messenger app is available free of cost at Apple’s app store and Google Play.
