LinkedIn Unveils A Standalone Job Search App

LinkedIn just go the attention of the world while unveiling a standalone Job Search App on Thursday. The app is going to join the LinkedIn app’s family soon. All the social networking sites needs improvement & progress to increase their ranking and got customer satisfaction. Renowned social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and other made much improvement through launch of different type of apps for their sites. On Thursday, LinkedIn in this regard also updated its sites with the launch of new app which is an addition to the existing apps. The app which is launched by LinkedIn is Job Search App; it is the sixth standalone and is at forth number which is launched in last18 months. The app is very beneficial for everyone as its main purpose is to helps users in finding good & well jobs according to the qualifications. The app has different categories depend on the level, fields, location and other types of job search are included in it. The Job Search App will guide and recommends users based on the opening of the job user had viewed and also save job searches. The app facilitates its users if they set for notifications and alerts you about the jobs if on keeps its tabs on. According to the LinkedIn, if the applicant is answering on a post daily then there are more chances of him to get a job. One of the LinkedIn Spokesman told reporters that the app is “dedicated to helping members find, research, and apply for jobs on-the-go without the distractions of news, content, and other updates,” LinkedIn has done much hard work to motivate and encourage the users to share their thoughts and also do post on blog to their profiles. All the sharing are pushed than with Job Search App to the side and along with it users posts and contents are remain private by the app as LinkedIn aims to help users to stay “discreet”. LinkedIn wrote on blog post: “Everything you do within the app will be completely private and not shared with your network,” LinkedIn Jobs Search App is a part of LinkedIn’s decision to unbundle the features that are present on main of the LinkedIn. LinkedIn wants to improve its traffic through mobile as it is at 41% now and company wants to take it to 50% till the end of the year. Vice President of products of LinkedIn Parker Barrile told Reporters: “Mobile apps work best when they are very focused on one specific use case or value proposition,” he further said. “So whenever we see a use case among our members that we believe is meaningful enough or broadly based enough to merit its own app, we’ll build that app.” LinkedIn strategy is not different from other social websites as renowned social networking site Facebook has launched few apps in 2014 including the recent messaging app Slingshot. The main issue is that either the users will like the collection of apps or the companies have tried to offer all the services to users alone. LinkedIn’s news reader app does not go up high enough at least at 50 at the end of April for US-News. LinkedIn at this stage of time nobody can even give an idea that strategy of the LinkedIn works or not as ranking of the app is not of much importance. LinkedIn Search Job App is for specific set f users as 40% of the users search the jobs through mobile app especially LinkedIn members. On Thursday, according to a spokesperson, the LinkedIn Search Job App is available for iPhone users but only in US. The Android versions of the app will unveil later this year but here it is also noticed that there is no specific time announced for the international users to have access of Job Search App.
