ASUS, the IT manufacturing giant is creating a smartwatch brand named Vivo. But unlike almost all other smartwatch manufacturers, they are not making an Android based smartwatch. Oh no, they are making a Windows smartwatch!

Most of the smartwatches in the market use Tizen OS, this is Android’s exclusively made version for wearable devices.
ASUS tried to keep the story a secret, but the technology reporters got the scoop when the company filed for a patent for this watch.
Features of Vivo Windows Smartwatch
GPS: controlling your location, giving directions etc.
Fitness: heart rate monitor, monitoring sleep cycle etc.
Sensors: bluetooth and other wireless sensors that will make connectivity easier.
Mobile Phone Features: send and receive calls, send and receive SMS etc.
The patent includes categoric info about a device that will communicate with desktop computers, as well as mobile devices.
The device is expected to be launched at the event Mobile World Congress, which is the one of the biggest technology seminars when it comes to mobile technology. The next event is going to be held in March.
