Tag Heuer partners with Google and Intel to launch its first smartwatch

The trend of manufacturing smart watches is escalating and 2015 has witnessed so many brands to launch wearables, therefore Tag Heuer is one of them. This fashion accessories manufacturing company of Switzerland is about to put up its first smart watch with the cooperation of computing giants Google and Intel, as said by Reuters. Tag Heuer The new smartwatch is said to offer many of the similar features as that of Apple watch such as geolocation, distance walked and altitude but it will be a digital replica of the original Tag Heuer black Carrera watch which is known for its massive and sporty allure. The Chief Executive of Tag Heuer Jean Claude Biver has told Reuters in an interview that “People will have the impression that they are wearing a normal watch,” and he added by saying “Apple will get young people used to wearing a watch and later maybe they will want to buy themselves a real watch.” Thus the company aims to give tough competition to the Tech giant Apple by introducing its first smart watch having snappy specifications, however, it looks like it can also be proved as a hurdle in the way of new smart watches lately introduces by Huawei, LG, Sony, ASUS, Guess and others
