Rickshaws to provide Wi-Fi facility in Pakistan

While many of us have observed the images of the silver colored and oval shaped rickshaws on various social platforms but the most interesting part of them which has been recently revealed is the Wi-Fi availability and GPS navigation system. According to some unconfirmed sources, these rickshaws will deploy Wi-Fi hotspots with the help of 3G connection and can use cellular SIMs for this purpose. Moreover, this new and modernized vehicle is not meant to provide transportation facility to the people as only promotional activities are said to take place by means of it. Rickshaws These rickshaws could be a part of new marketing campaign by a company, probably Ufone, according to some rumors. However, the exact details are expected to reveal within few days. This marketing project has been processed by a Karachi based marketing agency ‘Brand Activate’ according to which, these rickshaws are ‘Smart and Fully Equipped’ and are manufactured by Ascend Engineering group in Lahore. The new rickshaw appears to be interesting and can be proved as a unique technique to allure the masses. But we shall have to wait for the time to reveal any further specifications of this vehicle and the campaign.
