Miranjani is situated near Nathia Gali Abbotabad. It is about 80 kilometers (50 miles) north of Islamabad in the Himalayan ranges. From Nathia Gali it takes three hours to reach the peak. It is an easy walk and offers a spectacular view. It has less space at the top compared to the neighbouring mountain Mushkpuri. From Meran Jani the following places can easily be seen Azad Kashmir, Jhelum River (Kohala bridge), Tarbela lake, Abbottabad city, Havelian, and Thandiani. On a clear day, the treacherous mountain Nanga Parbat can be seen 400 km away.
