Ufone increases rates of SMS to all networks

Following suit of Warid, Ufone is also going to increase its Prepaid SMS rates on all networks. This change in tariff per SMS is different for different price plans offered by Ufone. They are going to be effective from 13th May 2014. From Uth pack, each SMS will cost 90 paisa +tax sent to any network in Pakistan. A Super Sasta Package user will be charged Rs. 1.55+tax, for every SMS that is sent by him/her to any mobile number. Rest of the prepaid price plan users of Ufone will have to pay Rs. 1.55+tax for every SMS that is sent to in any local network of Pakistan. Obviosly this increase in SMS price doesn’t effect those Ufone Prepaid customers who already have subscribed to some SMS package offered from Ufone as they’ll get free SMS against the money that they have submitted as tariff of that SMS package. So either you should get an SMS package for yourself or otherwise get ready to pay higher on each SMS that you send to any number in Pakistan
