Facebook Messenger App Reached to Windows Phone

Facebook messaging app which allow users to send free texts to their Facebook friends, Facebook Messenger is now also available on Windows Phone. Last month Joe Belfiore corporate vice president and manager for Windows Phone program management announced that Facebook chat app was coming to Windows Phone. Now it has reached to Windows Phone and is available in the store. While some of the features of Facebook Messenger are already built-in in Windows Phone but it will work as an independent chat app. Facebook Messenger app’s new features which are available on Windows Phone let the users to send texts, photos, stickers to their friends and more impressively it also allow users to add their friends for group chat. While it still lacks some of the features which Facebook Messenger app really has but we can hope to see an update soon because it’s just been introduced to Windows Phone. While all the features of the pp are not there yet, like its custom notification sound and voice messages service but it is still working pretty awesome and we are also hoping that company will update its app soon as it’s been doing previously. Besides the update company is also working to bring some other apps which will receive SMS/MMS. Facebook Messenger app took a much longer time than it was being expected to be on Windows Phone, while Microsoft already has Messenger’s counterpart iOS and Android on the platform of Windows Phone. The news of arrival of the app to store just surfaced around when Microsoft is about to roll out it’s one of major update, yeah Windows Phone 8.1 update that is expected to come later in April. As we discussed above that Windows Phone have some of built-in features which Facebook Messenger app also going to offer on the Phone, now what will happen to the features that are already there for users or are built-in in Windows Phone? Off course Microsoft is going to step down from its built features which are already into Windows Platform and replace the features with Facebook Messenger app. And all these changes and missing features like voice messages are likely to be seen in upcoming Windows 8.1 update that is expected to be in April 2014.
